Who is Cheryl Jaclin Isaac?

Fluffy socks, a cozy blanket, a roaring fire, and a book – is there anything more perfect?

My passion for reading began in high school, when my best friend finally convinced me to read John Grisham’s The Firm. Up until that point, I never understood the concept of “pleasure” reading. Cue up the music to “A Whole New World”! Now I won’t walk out the door without my trusty Kindle in my purse and an audiobook set to play on my phone.

I started my editing career in corporate communications – writing and editing newsletters, website copy, articles, brochures, and training materials. Later, to complement my many years of medical coding experience, I added item writing and editing for home health certification exams. Book editing followed, turning my favorite hobby into an opportunity to help authors shape their manuscripts into the works of art they envision.

My portfolio ranges from fiction, memoir, self-help, and travel guides to medical journals, marketing materials, business proposals, and resumes.

My favorite genres are psychological thriller, legal thriller, mystery, women’s fiction, and historical fiction.
